Revelation Fest write-up now on-line

Revelation Film FestivalPerth Revelation Film Festival (Australia) has published this write-up:

“Is there some kind of competition to see which filmmaker can have the worst time making a movie? Think Terry Gilliam in Lost In La Mancha, Mark Borchardt from American Movie and the Sydney boys struggling to finish their film in Making Venus (Rev 2002).

If Rev doco Wrath Of Gods is anything to go by, the competition has been won by Icelandic director Sturla Gunnarsson. Gunnarsson, his crew and cast – including 300 star Gerard Butler – were cursed by trolls, blown off the side of a mountain and endured hellish storms making epic Beowulf & Grendel. It’s grim for them but fun for us. Wrath Of Gods is a gripping documentary about the madness of movie making.”

Waterfront Festival a success

Wrath of Gods at Waterfront Film FestivalThe Waterfront Film Festival has just ended. They convert huge boat sheds and high school gyms into cinemas and fill 700 seats. This has to be one of the most fun festivals I have been to. See more HERE.
